Protect Your Garage and Home from Burglars with the Patented Garage Protect
gp photo 3

The patented Garage Protect™ (patent number US9512639) is not an Alarm System. Alarm Systems offer the greatest protection from Burglary's, and Home Invasion Robberies. However, unless you have a remote activated system they do not usually cover the vehicle garage door. Depending on the type of installation, and garage door fit, many automatic garage door openers can easily be opened via the emergency release mechanism by a Burglar. They can do this in as little as 6 seconds, which is usually not enough time for a neighbor to notice. For $39.95, the patented Garage Protect™ will prevent this and force the Burglar to use more aggressive means that can be heard or detected.

Is your peace of mind worth $39.95?
Garage Protect™ and/or any Alarm System cannot prevent a break-in, but most Burglars and Home Invasion Robbers look for the path of least resistance. The more time it takes them for entry, the greater chance of detection. The greater the risk of detection, the less desirable your home becomes.

In addition to
Garage Protect™ you can do the following things to minimize uninvited intruders:

Cover Up Places People Can Look through i.e. glass pains, or designer openings:
Don't let people have visual access to what is in your Garage. If a Burglar can look in your Garage and see there are no cars, expensive equipment or other potentially valuable merchandise, they are more likely to break in. Use old dark curtains or shades to keep the things you have inside your garage hidden. If possible, you can find some tint that doesn't allow others to look in, but allows you to see out. Another thing to remember, try not to leave your garage door open all the time. This is another way thieves can determine your contents.

Motion Detector Lights:
Motion detector lights are an inexpensive and simple way to keep your garage and the surrounding area safer. The Lights should be set in the darkest and the most secluded places around your garage. Thieves do not like well lit areas, especially motion detectors that draw maximum attention when they are activated. If you can connect them to existing outlets, you will save time and money.
